Arrow of the Crooked Path

The tip of this magical arrow is bent and misaligned, and the fletching is ragged and fraying. Once per turn, when you miss with a ranged attack roll using this arrow, you can target another creature within range. If the attack would hit them, the arrow changes course to strike them instead.

Cursed. If the arrow does not hit the second target, or if you do not choose a second target, the arrow hits you instead, dealing damage as if it had rolled the maximum possible value.
