The axe of the ancestors, bloodied through the ages but managing to keep it's edge, it grants all those who wield it a connection to it's wielders of the past. If it weren't for the jewel at the base of it's hilt, no one could tell the difference from a regular battleaxe. It's original wielder was an orc who delved into magics, deserting their tribe's barbaric ways, but still wishing to hold on to the legacy of his ancestors. With every passing, from one generation to the next, the axe grows a little stronger.
Can spend 10 minutes per day meditating to commune with the ancestors for guiding wisdom. On rare occurrences the wielders have gained more than just their ancestor's wisdom, granting them the hidden strength's within. Must commune at least once before the ancestor's will allow the axe to be wielded. If someone attempts to wield the axe without the ancestor's permission, it will burn hot and deal 1d4 fire damage
Once per long rest, can call upon one's ancestors to grant them strength. Gives a 1d8 magical slashing or bludgeoning damage to the first attack made that turn, the ancestors unleashing their fury upon the enemy.
+1 to history and religion proficiencies.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Cleave. If you hit a creature with a melee attack roll using this weapon, you can make a melee attack roll with the weapon against a second creature within 5 feet of the first that is also within your reach. On a hit, the second creature takes the weapon’s damage, but don’t add your ability modifier to that damage unless that modifier is negative. You can make this extra attack only once per turn.
