Wondrous Item, legendary (requires attunement by a By a creature that can read Abyssal)

Yeenoghu's Book of Recipes is a black leather bound tome that appears as if it was gnawed on. Throughout the book are detailed recipes on how to prepare all sorts of meats to make them even more delicious. Every possible meat one could think of is listed in excruciatingly bloody detail with ways to kill, cook and eat. Certain pages are crusted in drool and blood, especially pages referencing Elf meat. When attuned to this book you gain the following benefits:

  • You gain expertise with Cook's Utensils.
  • You have advantage on survival checks when preparing food that you've killed.
  • When you partake in cannibalism you feel a rush throughout your entire body. Eating a humanoid corpse heals you by 3d6.
  • Your teeth grow into a natural weapon, sharp and jagged like a carnivorous canine. As an action you can make a bite attack that deals 3d6 + Strength Modifier. As a bonus action you can rend the flesh from a humanoid you bite into and heal 3d6.

Cursed. Yeenoghu's Book of Recipes is cursed. While attuned to the book humanoid creatures look especially delicious, even seeing a corpse makes you drool and your stomach rumble. When you kill a humanoid creature you must succeed on a DC 15 Wisdom saving throw or use your next action to begin eating the corpse.

Notes: Natural Weapon: Piercing, By a creature that can read Abyssal
