The axe has the throw property and has a range of 30 feet and a long range of 120 feet. Once thrown the axe can be recalled as a bonus action. When the axe is recalled it will take the most direct route to its wielder. If an object is in the way the axe will momentarily turn into harmless lightning energy in order to pass through. Every creature in the path of the axe must make a Dexterity Saving throw (DC 15) on a failed save the creature takes an additional 1d6 slashing damage and 1d4 lightning damage or half as much damage on a successful one.
When raging the barbarian has access to the ability Storm Aura (sea). When Storm Aura (sea) is activated as a bonus action, you can choose one other creature you can see in your aura (10 feet from you). The target must make a Dexterity Saving throw (DC 8 + your proficiency bonus + your constitution modifier). The target takes 1d6 lightning damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. If the barbarian has Path of the Storm Herald desert or tundra they can choose to use Storm Aura (sea) instead of their chosen one. Should they be a barbarian who has Path of the Storm Herald Sea then they can add 1d6 to their Storm Aura (sea).
Proficiency with a Battleaxe allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
