Wondrous Item, rare

An ornate golden armlet depicting a serpent like creature coiling around the the upper arm of its wearer. Engraved with fine scales, patterns & features similar to that of a realistic snake. It's eyes closed yet hidden within are two remarkable yet minute glassy emeralds.

The serpent itself can be awoken with an action after its wearer calls out the creatures name in abyssal. (Names can be given/changed via a small ritual that take the duration of a short rest). It takes on the role of a familiar to its user and obtains the stats below.

If the creature were to be struck and forced to 0hp it returns to its former state as a golden armlet where it lies and cannot be re-summoned again until after a long rest.
