Expertly crafted from the remains of an Ancient Blue Dragon, these gauntlets combine the flexibility of Mithril, the durability of Adamantium, and the electrical properties of Blue Dragon Scales.
When you hit with an unarmed melee attack with these Gauntlets, you can cause the target to take an additional 1d4 lightning damage.
You have resistance to lightning damage while you wear these Gauntlets.
You have a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon.
Proficiency with a Club allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Slow. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to it, you can reduce its Speed by 10 feet until the start of your next turn. If the creature is hit more than once by weapons that have this property, the Speed reduction doesn’t exceed 10 feet.
Notes: Resistance: Lightning, Damage: Lightning, Bonus: Magic, Weapon Property: Finesse, Monk, Damage, Combat, Handwear, Light, Slow
These are designed to be a pair of gauntlets a monk can use as a monk weapon while maintaining the unarmed status. I have no clue how to implement that without starting them as a club or other monk weapon.
These gauntlets were forged by a master blacksmith and a tinkerer as a reward for killing an ancient blue dragon. The DM plans for them to grow in power the more the monk trains with them.
