Weapon (crossbow, light), rare (requires attunement by a Requires bard carrying a lute)

A fairly compact crossbow made out of shiny light metal. One of the first attempts at branching into weaponry by Amnar, a dwarves forger in Leethgreen. upon first glance, the crossbow seems basic and unformidable. Many have claimed to hear a simple melody gently ringing from it's metal frame.

Once attuned to a Bard, user fires a single bolt (1d8+3). After a successful hit, user rolls 1d6. On rolling an odd number, end action. On rolling an even number, roll for firing a second bolt. On a hit, roll 2d10+4 piercing damage. After a successful hit, roll 1d6. On rolling an odd number, end action. On rolling an even number, roll for firing a third bolt. On a hit, roll 2d6+7 radiant damage.

Unless fired within visible range, the firing of this weapon is silent meaning stealth is not affected by firing this weapon.

Proficiency with a Light Crossbow allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.


This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Slow. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to it, you can reduce its Speed by 10 feet until the start of your next turn. If the creature is hit more than once by weapons that have this property, the Speed reduction doesn’t exceed 10 feet.
