This pair of magical shortswords at first appears to be nothing but an ordinary, if ornately carved, walking cane with a metallic head in the shape of a green dragon's. In this state, it appears as a mundane object to spells such as Detect Magic. When the cane is held horizontally and the head is twisted towards its holder, it transforms into a pair of shortswords, one held in each of the wielder's hands. These shortswords have the ability to more efficiently use applied poisons than other weapons. When you apply a dosage of poison to one of the shortswords, it instead only requires half a dose for the poison to take effect, allowing the other half of the dosage to be applied to the other sword.
Proficiency with a Shortsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Vex. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to the creature, you have Advantage on your next attack roll against that creature before the end of your next turn.
