Artificer's Coat of Holding

This colourful riveted patchwork leather coat has many cunning pockets and pouches and as a whole has all the properties of both studded leather armour and a bag of holding. It also has a flexible framework of boning (made of artificer-touched ironwood) that can be activated out of combat to allow it to act as a small tent or tepee, with poles that push firmly into soft ground. The tent is rigid enough that a backpack worn on the coat continues to stay in place on the tent. When worn, the coat has a tendency to stand out from the body rather in the manner of a boned or hooped skirt. The original of this item looks like a human's three-quarter length jacket  but retailored to suit a gnome, however it will magically resize itself to fit any small or medium being. There is also a Large version of this item for bigger races.

Made from tough but flexible leather, studded leather is reinforced with close-set rivets or spikes.
