Weapon (greatsword), legendary
This greatsword can store up to 10 radiant damage and release it on a hit.
Proficiency with a Greatsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Graze. If your attack roll with this weapon misses a creature, you can deal damage to that creature equal to the ability modifier you used to make the attack roll. This damage is the same type dealt by the weapon, and the damage can be increased only by increasing the ability modifier.
Notes: Paladin, Damage, Combat, Warding, Heavy, Two-Handed, Graze

Posted Mar 14, 2020Nice and simple but is it storing radiant damage that it absorbed from an attack directed at it's owner? Can it be charged up by an ally casting a spell onto it?
Does it release the damage at random or does the wielder get to choose when to use it?
Good item that adds a lot of flavor without being over complicated.

Posted May 24, 2020This is an interesting item, great flavor; however, I feel it is NOT legendary item, maybe rare, but not uncommon. I feel like it could be scaled up to be really cool! Though again, the idea behind it is really cool.

Posted Jul 7, 2020Interesting idea however it seems to be missing how it stores the radiant energy. Does it gain a certain amount after a period of time? Does it absorb incoming damage as radiant? I also wouldn't call this legendary. Typically legendary items are way more powerful than this. I would perhaps agree with the above statement that it seems more like a rare item or very rare depending on the way that it stores the radiant damage.
