Weapon (crossbow, heavy), legendary (requires attunement by a To attune you need to drench the crossbow with 1 liter worth of blood. It does not matter whose blood it is, only who is drenching the bow)

This crossbow shows signs of misuse and lack of care. It looks rotten and soaked, it also feels rotten and wet to the touch. Despite these traits it is actually as study as a regular crossbow. It deals 1d12 piercing damage and 1d8 physic damage to a target. when it does hit a target the creature must preform a wisdom save(10) or it will become blind, if hit again the creature must preform another wisdom save(8) or else it will become frightened. After this there will be no more stacking effects. The curses end either when the target dies or the user takes a long rest. You can cure the blindness and frightened effects by using dispel or by preforming a long rest. Continued use of the crossbow will cause the user to become blood thirsty and will change their alignment from its present state to Chaotic Evil. This can be fixed by using a magic item that stops alignment change or by leaving the crossbow in a random place. The crossbow will then disappear and reappear 4 miles from the area of abandonment. It will not disappear when within sight. The crossbow then can be used again by the user if they can find it. You know when the crossbow in imprinted because it will absorb the blood and become a reddish brown color.

Proficiency with a Heavy Crossbow allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
