Armor (plate), legendary (requires attunement by a creature with a DM who knows how to be cool)

You have resistance to nonmagical damage while you wear this armor. Additionally, you can use an action to make yourself immune to nonmagical damage for 10 minutes or until you are no longer wearing the armor. Once this special action is used, it can't be used again until the next dawn.

The armor is inscribed with a hastily written message in the back left of the backplate. It reads:

"Hey, psst. It's ya boy, Calhoun the Artificer. Ever wonder why the heck the so-called 'Armor of Invulnerability' didn't even have a plus to armor class? Like yeah, resistance to non-magic and even immunity, but what DM is gonna give a legendary plate armor before you get to the level where everything is already casting spells at ya? So I fixed that problem. Enjoy, ya tanky sonofa*****!"

Plate consists of shaped, interlocking metal plates to cover the entire body. A suit of plate includes gauntlets, heavy leather boots, a visored helmet, and thick layers of padding underneath the armor. Buckles and straps distribute the weight over the body.

Notes: Resistance: Bludgeoning, Piercing, and Slashing from Nonmagical Attacks, Immunity: Bludgeoning, Piercing, and Slashing from Nonmagical Weapons, Bonus: Armor Class, creature with a DM who knows how to be cool, Combat, Warding, Str. 15 Required, Stealth Disadvantage
