The Asgardian Horned Helm of Drinking is a treasure crafted by the dwarves Eitri and Hreidmar. It is a golden Helm that fully covers the back of the head down to the neck, the side of the head down to the shoulders, and covers the nose of the face. It is gilded in finely chiseled runes, that are in perfect rows starting at the back of the helm working towards the front. On either side, is a rams horn that is positioned to face downward, and curves perfectly towards the current wearers lips. It will never touch the lips or face of the wearer unless they intend to drink from it, and so the horns will never cause injury during combat should the helm be struck. The helm must be attuned to the wearer who then gives the helm a command word to activate it. The command word brews high quality mead in the hollowed out horns and provides 1 liter (per horn) of mead. As a bonus action after an attack, to use the helm and drink the mead the wearer must speak the command word. The mead will provide 1d12 temporary hit points, temporarily increase strength by 1, and decrease dexterity by 2. The effects will last 5 minutes. Each horn has 1 charge for a total of two charges that can be used as a bonus action after any attack. The Helm cannot be recharged while in combat. If a wearer is not in combat and continues to use the command word and drink from the horns, the effects of the Helm stack for no more than 10 charges, from both horns combined.
"It was a very lucky thing, that I had my Helm.....when I accidentally interrupted all those giants at supper time." ~ Thor
