This leather pouch contains 5 stone acorns.
Upon close inspection, the acorns have a multitude of tiny green roots protruding from their stony surface.
When an acorn is hurled to the ground with force, a tree grows instantly from the spot the acorn struck the ground. The tree erupts from the soil and grows upward, while a root system springs into existence at its base. The trees height is determined by rolling a d12 and multiplying by 10.
A creature within 5 feet of the location the acorn is thrown on the ground it carried up to the top of the tree by its upper branches. They must succeed a DC15 Dexterity saving throw or fall the full height of the tree. Damage received from falling in this way is half what a creature would typically receive, due to bouncing on tree branches. A creature that passes the saving throw has successfully grabbed the upper branches of the oak, and is clinging to them.
Any trees created in this way live a normal healthy life where they were planted.
