Arcane Box

This eight sided box has a symbol of a school of magic on each of the sides. These symbols shed dim light for 5 feet. As an action, you can toss the box up to ten feet. Whichever side is facing up glows brightly, then the light flies out and creates a magical effect according to the table. You determine the effect by rolling a d8. The symbol then fades. If you roll the same number, nothing happens. Dispel magic cast on this box removes three random symbols. The box is destroyed if dispel magic would take it to negative two or three symbols.
