This sword has no history. The sword is made of valyrain steel and has some magic as well. It deal 2d8 of slashing damage. When activated the blade of the sword engulfs in flames and does 1d6 of fire damage. In the pommel of the sword lies a red gem which contains one third level of fireball. Each creature in a 20-foot radius sphere centered on that point must make a Dexterity saving throw. A target takes 8d6 fire damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. The spell can be use once every long rest.
Proficiency with a Longsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

Sap. If you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn.
