Amulet of the Harpies' Curse

While wearing this necklace, you can use a bonus action to summon a pair of wings. This sprouts pair of bird wings on your back for up to 1 hour or until you dismiss them as a bonus action. The wings give you a flying speed of 60 feet.

Curse. This necklace is cursed, a fact that is revealed only when a legend lore spell is cast on the necklace. Attuning to the necklace curses you and what ends the curse is up to the DM; removing the necklace fails to end the curse. While cursed, when the wings disappear you receive 1 level of exhaustion for every 10 minutes the wings were active. If you attempt to summon them again you must succeed on a constitution saving throw DC = 10 + the level of exhaustion or are unable to use them until all exhaustion has been removed. If a character uses the wings for 1 hour instead of instantly dying from the sixth point of exhaustion they instead fall unconscious and must begin making death saving throws until they either stabilize (this cannot be via magical healing), die, or have the exhaustion removed through methods such as Greater Restoration or a Potion of Vitality. If a character is attuned to this item for five years while it is cursed they begin to suffer 1 level of exhaustion every two months (which is only removed if the curse is broken) until they die after one year.  

If the curse is removed, you can use this item without suffering exhaustion and once it is used it cannot be used until you complete a long rest.
