Ace Up the Sleeve

This silver ring is embedded with two tiny black pearls and two tiny rubies.  When you make an ability  check or saving throw you may spend a charge from this ring to roll a second d20 and then you can choose which roll to use.  You may choose to roll the second d20 after the first die is rolled, but before th results are known.  If you use a charge for an ability check in a gambling match and you win that match the charge automatically recharges.
