Armor (studded leather), rare (requires attunement by a wizard or artificer)

The Arcanomechanical armor was the main form of protection for wizards of the former School of Invention. Those who wear this armor are considered proficient with this armor even if they lack proficiency with light armor. While you are attuned to it and wearing it, it grants you resistance to force damage.

The armor is light armor and provides an AC of 12 + your Dexterity modifier.

You can create a new suit of it at the end of a long rest by touching a nonmagical suit of studded leather armor, which magically transforms it. Doing so removes the magic from your previous arcanomechanical armor, turning it into nonmagical studded leather.

After the teachings of the Arcanomechanical Armor was all but forgotten, I was able to build my own with what little notes that remained. Luckily, I'm a better inventor that others give me credit for and could figure out the missing components.
