Armor of the lost

This armor is of fine quality, but seems very old. It’s almost pure black in color and reflects little to no light. While wearing this armor you feel safe, but common folk and none party members may treat you less kindly as the armor is off putting. 

Plate consists of shaped, interlocking metal plates to cover the entire body. A suit of plate includes gauntlets, heavy leather boots, a visored helmet, and thick layers of padding underneath the armor. Buckles and straps distribute the weight over the body.
