The shaft of this arrow is intricately engraved with magical runes, that upon setting have become black and seem to scuttle around when focused on for too long. When a creature is hit with this arrow, a swarm of spiders erupt from the shaft and begin biting the creature incessently, dealing an extra 1d4 piercing damage at the start of the creature's turns, until the arrow is removed.
