These miniature wings are wired in platinum and paned with delicate colored crystal.

Attaching the wings to the back causes them to turn into a tattoo of faerie wings with a permanent loss of 1 HP.

When a command word is spoken, faerie wings appear on your back. The color of the wings depends upon the color of the crystal panes.  You gain a flight speed of 30 while the wings are active. You cannot be wearing medium or heavy armor to gain this flight speed. While in flight, a faint trail of luminous dust follows 20 feet behind you.

 You can use the command word again to make the wings disappear.
