When attuned to this coat you are able to understand and read Aquan. Additionally whenever you are submerged in water the lower half of your body becomes a seal like tail. In this form you can breath and speak underwater and have a swimming speed of 45 feet. You do not revert to your normal form until more than half of your body is out of the water or decide to end it. Additionally You gain resistance to cold damage, and you don’t suffer the effects of extreme cold, as described in the Dungeon Master's Guide while attuned to this item.
