Weapon (greataxe), artifact (requires attunement by a Short rest hugging the Axe)

This artifact is embodied with the spirit of someone that vowed to make to world a better place one random act of kindness at a time.

When attuned, you, and only you, will be able to hear the Axe. Every time you practice a good deed the axe will compliment you in a kind and cheerful way.

While attuned to the artifact, you can use an action to cast the Friends spell from it. After you cast the spell, roll a d6. On a roll of 1-5, you can´t cast it again until the next dawn.

Also, everytime you bring forth the good in you, the Axe will gain a Friendship stack, up to 7, of radiant energy. For each friendship stack, the Axe will deal an extra 1D6 radiant damage.

Sentience
The Axe of the Everlasting Friendship is a sentient Lawful Good weapon with an Intelligence of 12, a Wisdom of 16, and a Charisma of 18. It has hearing and darkvision out to a range of 120 feet.
The weapon can speak, read and understand Common, and can communicate with its wielder telepathically. Its voice is kind and cheerful.

Personality
The Axe of Everlasting Friendship wishes to build a world where no evil takes place and where, in every street of every town, people of all races and backgrounds can live in perfect harmony.
The Axe bound with you, the wielder, in hope that you will grant it this wish that, for all intents and purposes, is what caused it to choose to take this form.
However, there is one thing that the Axe fears more than anything, and that is to see that there's no hope in the world. That it is to dark for even the small thread of friendship and good to be planted and grow.

IDENTIFY SPELL

Awakened

Once the Axe is convinced that you are the personification of good and good deeds (full stacks), it will grant you and your allies with its blessing. Everytime you and your allies are, at least, 20ft close to each other, all of you receive a bonus of +2 to your AC. Also, while at this distance and under this influence, everyone can hear the Axe and its encouraging speech.

Curse

If your character is of evil alignment, the Axe will try another approach. As soon as the attunement takes hold, and the Axe senses your nature, it will try to lead you into the path of peace and good practices. If the Axe is used to harm someone or something that is innocent, the attack will have no effect as the Axe stops mid blow, and deals 1D6 radiant damage to you. While using another weapon, the attacks takes effect, but also the radiant punishment.

If you are 10ft away from the axe, you become blind until you come back to it.

The only way to break the curse, is to remove the attunement, which can only be done, by changing your alignment to somewhere in the Good spectrum. With this alignment, in order to remove the attunement you have with the Axe of Everlasting Friendship, you must make a Persuasion/Deception check against the Axe's Charisma.

Destroying the Axe of the Everlasting Friendship
The only way to destroy the Axe of Everlasting Friendship is to bathe it in Asmodeus' blood.

Proficiency with a Greataxe allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Cleave. If you hit a creature with a melee attack roll using this weapon, you can make a melee attack roll with the weapon against a second creature within 5 feet of the first that is also within your reach. On a hit, the second creature takes the weapon’s damage, but don’t add your ability modifier to that damage unless that modifier is negative. You can make this extra attack only once per turn.
