Annam Whispers "Stig"

This spear, forged for those of giant heritage, is a little larger than normal and adds a +1 bonus to all damage rolls made with this weapon.

Since the shattering of the Ordning, Annam's prophets and worshippers have barely heard a whisper from him, much less a dream. That is, until a few weeks past. Even the giant-blooded are receiving visions of Annam, and in his voice they hear a single word. A rune, an ancient and powerful form of magic, is heard in each dream. Those who receive these dreams are inspired to create something, an item of power related to the rune they heard. For smiths of iron, they are inspired to create weapons.

Blinding Burst. The spear has 3 charges. When you hit a creature with this weapon, you may expend a charge. If you do, the creature is marked on its body by a glowing stig (light) rune for a minute and must make a DC 13 Constitution saving throw or be blinded until the beginning of their next turn. As a bonus action, you may invoke the rune and force the marked creature to make another DC 13 Constitution saving throw, being blinded until the beginning of their next turn if they fail. A single creature can only be forced to make the saving throw once per round. The spear regains all expended charges at dawn.

 

Proficiency with a Spear allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
