While wielding this shield, you have a +1 bonus to AC. This bonus is in addition to the shield's normal bonus to AC.
Crafted from a sturdy Ankheg plate, this light chitin shell serves as a reliable shield. Wrapped in the hide of a slain Young Black Dragon, this shield grants resistance to acid damage whilst it is wielded, with enchantments increasing its underlying strength and durability.
Shields require the Utilize action to Don or Doff. You gain the Armor Class benefit of a Shield only if you have training with it.
