This item symbolizes constant movement of time. The amulet is made of etherium, circular in shape amulet has 3 internal circles accompanied by geometrical lines and several other circles. It was created as jewelry piece but later it was imbued with divination magic at the Laboratory of Continuity. A creature that is wearing the Amulet will receive small flashes of the future, making the bearer highly aware of it's surroundings. If you are wearing or holding it, you can't be surprised, except when incapacitated by something other than nonmagical sleep. The weapon magically awakens you if you are sleeping naturally when combat begins.
In addition, while attuned to the amulet you gain the following benefits according to the amulet state while wearing it:
Dormant State
- When an ally taking an opportunity attack, you may use your reaction to attack the enemy. If your attack hits, the enemy's opportunity attack is done with disadvantage.
Awakened State
- You have advantage on initiative rolls.
- You have a +5 bonus to your passive Wisdom (Perception) and Intelligence (Investigation) scores.
Exalted State
You start receiving glimpses of the future in your dreams. When you finish a long rest, roll two d20s and record the numbers rolled. You can replace any attack roll, saving throw, or ability check made by you or a creature that you can see with one of these foretelling rolls. You must choose to do so before the roll, and you can replace a roll in this way only once per turn.
Each foretelling roll can be used only once. When you finish a long rest, you lose any unused foretelling rolls.
