Aakren lays still in the temple to Tempus. It is prophesied that only his son can take the weapon. Aakren channels the god within to unleash 1d8 + Wis radiant damage on the enemy during Critical hits and Attacks of Opportunity if wielded by an Aasimar, and does 1d8 + Wis Necrotic if wielded by a tiefling. Aakren has 5 charges to cast guiding bolt (Aasimar) and Wrath (Tiefling), which recharges 1d4+1 at dawn. Aakren only has special powers if wielded by an Aasimar or a Tiefling. Otherwise, It is just a powerful longsword. On the blade, the words "Aakren sal sunm shoum tliflo it co scam ceamthlith so flipil si tempus" are engraved. If it is claimed these letters will glow white (Aasimar) or Red (Tiefling).  

Proficiency with a Longsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
