Weapon (longsword), rare (requires attunement by a Paladin)

This item appears to be a longsword hilt. While grasping the hilt, you can use a bonus action to cause a blade of pure radiance to spring into existence, or make the blade disappear. While the blade exists, this magic longsword has the all the properties of a normal longsword.

You gain a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this weapon. The weapon deals an extra 2d6 radiant damage on a hit.  The radiant damage done by this weapon ignores radiant resistance, but not radiant immunity.  This additional damage is not doubled in the case of a critical hit, but is applied after the critical hit damage has been calculated.

The sword's luminous blade emits bright light in a 30-foot radius and dim light for an additional 30 feet.  When the blade is not in existence, there is no light emitted.

Proficiency with a Longsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Sap. If you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn.

Notes: Bonus: Magic, Weapon Property: Finesse, Damage: Radiant, Ignore Weapon Property: Versatile, Paladin, Damage, Combat, Versatile, Sap
