Autumn Ent's Strength

A pair of leather braces inseparable through a magic link. Decorated with fall colored oak leaves. Where one might feel their own strength failing trust in the trees.

On a failed strength check, instead, your strength modifier is temporarily increased for the round to meet the DC. Depending on how much the strength is added, the following happens:

• (2-4) Small twigs begin to sprout from the bracers to support the weight. (DC 8 to remove the twigs)
• (5-7) (including above effects) Roots curl around your body and take root in the ground to help support the weight. (DC 14 to break free)
• (8-10) (including the above effects) The twigs and roots grow thicker and more numerous. You are slowly beginning to be encased in a tree. (DC 20 to break free)
• (11-12) (including the above effects) You are encased almost fully within a tree. The bracers are pulled off and are among the branches above. (DC 26 to break free)
• (13+) (including the above effects) You are turned into a tree. Only through a druidic ritual could you possibly be reverted back. (DM discretion)

(Strength DC checks using your original strength)

The breastplate and shoulder protectors of this armor are made of leather that has been stiffened by being boiled in oil. The rest of the armor is made of softer and more flexible materials.
