When an arcane blast strikes an object or creature the part of the creature or object that is struck is transported to the astral plane. If it strikes a humanoid, roll a 1d6 on the effect chart to determine what body part it strikes:
1 = head, 2 = torso, 3 = L arm, 4 = R arm, 5 = L leg, 6 = R leg

During their downtime, characters can use the training rules in the Player’s Handbook to acquire proficiency, assuming that they have enough ammunition to keep the weapons working while mastering their use.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
