Wondrous Item, artifact (requires attunement by a By a undead being)
A mask that by itself shows a visage of a polished iron skull.
Once per day while worn, it will randomly change the appearance of the wearer into another humanoid of the same size. The mask still sits under the skin of the user. It is said that each time the face attaches to the user it is fairly painful. (Roll a d4 to determine a quirk given by the mask)
- A colored Jewel appears in the middle of your forehead and stays until the next dawn, persisting even if the mask is removed.
- Your eye colors do not match, and it is fairly noticeable.
- Your skin color does not match the humanoid race you appear as.
- The mask works perfectly and you choose your appearance.
Not even those with true sight can see through its illusion.
Everytime you are hit with a critical hit the mask gets damaged. If hit 3 times critically the mask is destroyed. It can be repaired by an Arcane smith for 1000 gold or 100 gold with required materials (2 silver ingots, 1 Garnet, and a vial of undead blood not your own)
