When placed around the neck the Amulet will glow a brilliant purple and make the wearer feel warm and cozy and a voice will say to them (Internally) "Hello master- speak and your wish will come true. You must only accept me and I will serve thee faithfully." If the wearer verbally accepts the Amulet will lock in place and the wearer will no longer be able to remove it unless a Remove Curse is used to free them from it.
Going forward the wearer will see a wonderful creature appear in front of it (whichever sex the wearer prefers) and the image will bow and tell the wearer that they are able to wish for anything by simply saying "I wish for" and it will happen for them. But master be mindful that you must be cautious not to wish for other wishes and you are limited to a secret number of them before I am to be bound to another."
At that point the image will vanish and whatever the owner wishes for will happen. The problem here is all these things are illusionary and appear to happen only in the mind of the wearer. There is no saving throw against these illusions as they have accepted it as truth. If they wish back a fallen friend it will appear but only as an illusion only they see and communicate with. No one else will ever see this illusion. If they wish to fly they will have the illusion they are flying while they are truly running upon the ground. If they wish to be a king they will appear kingly but only to themselves. This Amulet does has a placebo effect to a degree with regards to healing and damage resistances. Illusionary hit points can be provided as with a minor (2 damage resistance) can be gained by wishing for Healing or Immunities to fire or some other form of attack.
The Amulets power will only fade once it is removed and the owner will always believe the amulet is legit and that the wishes are happening for them. Taking those away undoes everything and the physiological impacts this can have on them is a reduction in Wisdom to (3) for several days (gaining 1 back daily).
The Amulet offers no wish abilities at all other then illusionary. So even in the Artic when the wisher wishes to be immune to cold they will believe they are even if they do freeze to death.
Notes: To others seeing the Amulet will see that this once interesting work of art when worn becomes common and appears as worthless junk. Over time on looking's seeing the strange erratic behaviors of the wearer will get an Insight check DC15+ to tell that the Wearer is Charmed and under the affects of some kind of delusion. , Creation, Control, Deception, Cursed, Jewelry
