The Amulet of the Imprisoned creates a binding between the wearer and the spirit within the artifact. Once the chant on the front of the Amulet has been spoken, it creates a binding between the wearer and the amulet. The Amulet cannot be removed from the wearer unless they are killed. The chant on the front says, "In thy name of the Goddess Mystra, I summon thy spirit to aid my quest for I accept the Contract of the Imprisoned.” spoken in the Primordial tongue. If said by a player, they accept the Contract of the Imprisoned [1]. When the chant is successful, a spirit that takes form as a Genie appears before the user. The Genie can cast the Wish spell [roll]1d4+1[/roll] per day and resets at dawn [2]. The Genie is also bound by the Word of the Primordial [3]. If a player was to die while wearing this amulet, instead of their soul being set free, it is imprisoned in the Amulet until its next wearer is to pass.
[1] - Contract of the Imprisoned - To thy wearer who speaks in the god's tongue shall offer binding to the spirit within this Amulet. If the wearer were to come to death, their spirit is imprisoned in the Amulet and shall host this artifact until the next wearer to pass and thus set thy soul free. As a spirit of the Amulet, you are bound by the word of the primordial
[2] - When the binding is first made, the number of charges is 2. Charges are reset to the number rolled ([roll]1d4+1[/roll]) at dawn.
[3] - Word of the Primordial - A Primordial Creature, Spirit, or Humanoid that is blessed with the power to alter reality is forbidden to perform acts of Death, acts to Kill, acts to Revive the Dead, acts to cause ill desires of the goddess of love, and acts to the greed of a Humanoid or Monstrous being.
