Wondrous Item, rare (requires attunement)
This macabre item consists of a bloodstone surrounded by human teeth and hanging from a golden chain. While wearing this amulet and you take Necrotic damage that doesn't reduce you to zero hit points, you gain temporary hit points equal to half the damage taken.
When these temporary hit points are depleted by an attack, the attacker immediately takes 3d6 Necrotic damage. This ability functions once per day, and recharges at midnight.
