It has 50 charges; you can cast the following spells from the staff: prismatic spray (7 charges), prismatic wall (10 charges), hypnotic pattern (rainbow colored, 4 charges), and color spray (1 charge)  Also, all spells you cast while holding this staff can be rainbow colored!
