This pair of rusted curved iron daggers were once wielded by Azazel, a high ranking general from Dis, the second circle of hell.
*Wielded in both hands*
When unattuned, these dagger are nothing more than rusted iron daggers that deal 1d4 slashing at disadvantage. However, should the wielder attune themselves to the blades, a soft voice will speak to them, and them alone. This voice will request that worth is proven to awaken the blades (The DM may decide how this is achieved). Should the request be ignored for six months without any progress towards the goal being completed, then the owner will take 8d4 Necrotic damage and the blades will teleport to a new location within 1km of the owner. Should the owner not want the daggers, they cannot dispose of the dagger, only give them to a new owner. Should the owner try to dispose of the daggers, they will ignite in flames and take 4d4 Necrotic damage before the blades reappear in their hands.
Once the voice deems their new owner worthy, the blades will be surrounded in a dark cloud that sparks with electricity. Once the clouds disperse, the blades will no longer be rusted, but instead be renewed. These black iron blades will constantly have sparks that run along their blades. The blades will now deal 4d4 slashing damage and 2d6 lightning damage, and all attack rolls have +4 and all damage rolls have +2. The target of any strike must make a Constitution saving throw. On a successful save, the lightning damage is halved.
Another feature of the daggers is their ability to cast spells using charges, which it can store a total of 8. At dawn of each day, roll a 1d6 + 2 to regain charges.
Thunderwave - 1 Charge
Call Thunder - 2 Charges
Lightning Bolt - 3 Charges
Chain Lightning - 4 Charges
Storm of Vengeance - 8 Charges and requires two days to pass before it may be cast again.
These blades will remain in this renewed state until their owner dies, at which point they revert to the rusted iron dagger they once were.
Proficiency with a Dagger allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Nick. When you make the extra attack of the Light property, you can make it as part of the Attack action instead of as a Bonus Action. You can make this extra attack only once per turn.
