This item is a silver sai crafted so the center blade resembles a serpent with green leather covering the handle and the tines are fashioned to look like recoiling vipers, fangs bared. You have a +2 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic sai.
Paired Weapon. Agony sais are typically made in pairs. If a creature posesses both sais in a pair, they can attune to both as a single magic item.
Asp's Strike. If the wielder successfully hits a single creature with both sais during their turn, they can choose to have one or both weapons deal piercing damage instead. If they do, the weapon or weapons bite the creature and remain latched on. While one or both sais are attached to the creature the creature takes 1d6 poison damage per weapon at the start of its turn and is affected as if by the slow spell until the last weapon is removed. A creature can use an action on its turn to remove one of the weapons.
Proficiency with a Club allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Slow. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to it, you can reduce its Speed by 10 feet until the start of your next turn. If the creature is hit more than once by weapons that have this property, the Speed reduction doesn’t exceed 10 feet.
Notes: Bonus: Magic, by a monk, Damage, Combat, Light, Slow
