The Runed Clockwork Dial is a Spell Focus crafted by proficient Artificers.
Cost: to produce this Focus, the cost is equivalent to the material components of the spells prepared within.
Casting a spell: the Artificer twists and turns the dial(s) to the corresponding rune.
Appearance: this is a disk with concentric and eccentric dials, small enough to be held by the Artificer. There are runes and gems etches on its edges and on some of the internal dials and the internal movements are exposed.
(picture a mix between an astrolabe and a clock movement)
Preparing the spells: during rest or equivalent action, the Artificer spends time tweaking and repairing the Runed Clockwork Dial.
Some components are consumed in the tweak/repair procedure.
Example components: bearings, springs, gears, oscillators, lubricants, gems, raw metals, wind-up movement, mini-levers, strings, pulley, gyroscopic oscillator, bolts etc
Notes: Item must be created by the very own Artificer that's going to wield it, Focus, Artificer
