Astral shackles appear like one half of a pair of iron ankle shackles. These shackles always appear to have one half missing. The single chain link that seems to connect the shackle is sliced perfectly in half but never falls off its adjacent chain link. On a successful grapple the wielder can place this shackle around the ankle of their opponent. As soon as the presented shackle is closed around someone’s foot, the sides switch. The person who was just shackled is now in the Astral Plane, attached to the material world only by the shackle and who (or what) ever was attached on the other side is transported from the Astral Plane to the material one and unlocked from the shackle.While in the Astral Plane the person cannot move from the shackle and has no need for hunger, drink, sleep, and does not age.
