Arcanum Mysterium

A leather bound tome written in draconic aids characters who read it by revealing ancient arcane secrets. The book connects with its reader and flips to the page containing the information sought after, even shifting the contents, including the language, of pages if needed.

This tome can be used as an arcane focus for spellcasting. You may cast the following spells as rituals while attuned, Detect Magic, Identify.

This tome also allows a character to add their proficiency bonus to Arcana checks when aided by the book. Characters who already have proficiency in Arcana may add double, as if they had expertise. A character does not receive these benefits if they are unable to open the book and read through the pages.

If a Wizard is attuned to this book they may learn an additional spell, maximum of 5th level spells, every time they gain a level.
