Atla Flame is an regal, yet fickle Solar who's lost her physical form after a mighty battle. With a worthy wielder, she aims to regain her body.
Sentience
Atla Flame is a sentient chaotic good weapon with an Intelligence of 12, a Wisdom of 16, and a Charisma of 20. It has hearing and darkvision out to a range of 120 feet.
The weapon can speak, read, and understand Common and Celestial, and can communicate with its wielder telepathically. Its voice is sophisticated and motherly. While you are attuned to it, Atla Flame also understands every language you know.
Personality
Atla Flame speaks with an imperious tone, as though accustomed to being obeyed.
The sword’s purpose is to consume souls of the wicked. The sword believes that all evil must be either purged or redeemed, but usually the latter.
Despite its judgemental nature, Atla Flame does care about it's worthy owner and will offer guidance to them.
Atla Flame's hunger for the souls must be regularly fed. If the sword goes three days or more without consuming a soul of non-Good alignment, it's radiant damage goes down by a 1d4 at the next sunset.
You can use a bonus action to speak this magic sword's command word, causing flames to erupt from the blade. These radiant flames shed bright light in a 40-foot radius and dim light for an additional 40 feet. While the sword is ablaze, it deals an extra 3d4 radiant damage to any target it hits. The flames last until you use a bonus action to speak the command word again or until you drop or sheathe the sword.
If you hit a Good aligned creature with this weapon, you take 1d10 radiant damage and the target regains 1d10 hit points. If this radiant damage reduces you to 0 hit points and you aren't of a Good alignment, Atla Flame devours your soul.
