When a suit of shiftweave is created, up to five different outfits can be embedded into the cloth. While wearing the clothing, you can speak its command word as a bonus action to transform your outfit into your choice of one of the other designs contained within it. Regardless of its appearance, the outfit can’t be anything but clothing. Although it can duplicate the look of other magical clothing, it doesn’t gain their magical properties.
This particular suit can be a very richly crafted and colorful stage outfit that wouldn't be out of place at a noble's household, a matching shirt and skirt with a pattern reminiscent of a cooking apron and three other average looking outfits suitable for different weather conditions.
The inside of this suit of shiftweave is made of a material taking ink and allowing you to write out a report. Each of the five different outfits can be used to send a report. An outfit can not be used again until the report has been read from another item, attuned to this one, on which the text appears as it is being written. When the report has been read the text disappears and an outfit can be used again. This works across any distance and even to other planes of existence, but if the other item is on a different plane than you, there is a 5 percent chance that the message doesn't arrive. An outfit can not be used in this way if there is already text on it.
