This Glaive is imbued with the holy power of Jaebron. It has a maximum of 10 charges and regains 1d4 charges daily at dawn.
When you hit a creature with a melee attack with this weapon, you can expend X charges to deal an additional Xd8 of radiant damage to the creature to a maximum of 5.
You can also expend a charge to cast the light cantrip.
Proficiency with a Glaive allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Graze. If your attack roll with this weapon misses a creature, you can deal damage to that creature equal to the ability modifier you used to make the attack roll. This damage is the same type dealt by the weapon, and the damage can be increased only by increasing the ability modifier.
Notes: Requires attunement by a good aligned creature., Heavy, Reach, Two-Handed, Graze

Posted Jul 6, 2024Rare may not be rare enough on this. Being able to deal a potential 40 extra damage a day, or twice every three days on a 1d10+2 weapon....That is still a lot when not even accouning for added abilities such as smites. It's damage output also makes the cantrip kind of pointless. It would be a rare situation that a player would be willing to trade off that damage for light that other members could doubtless make magically or non. they'd have to be non darkvision and REALLY desperate for light.
To make sure I'm being constructive, I'd recomend 8 max charges / 1d4+1 charges per day / additional Xd6 damage / max expendeture of 3. That's still a damage output of 1d10+2 base + 3d6 which is a max hit of 30 or 40 on a max crit vs your current build of 52 max and 62 max crit (not including player abilities). Even then I would make it very rare instead of just rare. 1d10+2+5d8
