Weapon (longbow), very rare (requires attunement by a The arrow must be wiped in the sweat of it's owner.)

An arrow of slaying is a magic weapon meant to injury and influence spellcasters.. If a creature belonging to the class of spell caster associated with an arrow of laying takes damage from the arrow, the creature must make a DC 20 constitution  saving throw or become poisoned for 1 day for every point of damage inflected by the arrow.

While poisoned the spell caster is effected by the pheromones of the arrow owner. During this time they have disadvantage on any persuasion DC checks required due to the actions of the arrows owner.

There is a -5 penalty on on any DC checks if the owner tries to seduce the poisoned spell caster. In this instance should the seduction be successful the owner of the arrow must make a DC 15 constitution saving throw or become similarly poisoned for 1 day for each point it failed the DC check.

There are two types of arrows. Arrow of Wizard Laying which effects Wizards,  Sorcerers and Artificers and an Arrow of Cleric Laying which effects Clerics,  Paladins, Druids and Warlocks.

Once an arrow of laying deals damage to a creature, it becomes a nonmagical arrow.

Other types of magic ammunition of this kind exist, such as bolts of laying meant for a crossbow, though arrows are most common.

Proficiency with a Longbow allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
