A black-hafted spear with a sword blade in place of the spear point. The blade is a foot-long, slightly curved and single-edged with a raven adorning each side. The shaft has an inscription, written in a language now lost to time.
Thus is our treaty written; thus is agreement made.
Thought is the arrow of time; memory never fades.
What was asked is given. The price is paid.
You find that you are able to read the inscription with ease and that you are fluent in the language. You frequently catch yourself speaking in this language as if it were your native tongue.
Curse. This weapon is cursed, and becoming attuned to it extends the curse to you. Until the curse is broken with a remove curse spell or similar magic, you are unwilling to part with the weapon. After attuning to this weapon, you are instantly considered unconscious and your hit points fall to 1. For the next 12 hours, you cannot be revived nor can your health be reduced to zero. Once the period ends, your hit points are restored to the point they were prior to attunement and you are able to move freely. The mark of a noose mars the flesh of your throat, visible even on scales (exception being feathers, which can be arranged to hide this mark).
As your connection to the weapon solidifies, it feels as if a noose has wrapped your throat. You find yourself suspended, your feet unable to touch the ground no matter how hard you try. You are brought to the brink of death, unable to move or interact with the outside world. Your wold becomes filled with the torment of constant suffocation without the mercy of of being able to black out.
Proficiency with a Glaive allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Graze. If your attack roll with this weapon misses a creature, you can deal damage to that creature equal to the ability modifier you used to make the attack roll. This damage is the same type dealt by the weapon, and the damage can be increased only by increasing the ability modifier.
Notes: Bonus: Magic, Weapon Property: Light, Weapon Property: Versatile, Ignore Weapon Property: Heavy, Ignore Weapon Property: Two-Handed, There are several versions of the Ashandarei but I wanted something that reflected more than just the weapon itself. As a trade off for having a weapon that defies the standard glaive negatives, I added a curse (like you want to put this down anyway) having the negative experience mimic what the original owner went through once he received the weapon. I also added Knock as a reference to how the weapon gets used later in the story., by creatures with a good alignment only., Damage, Combat, Cursed, Heavy, Reach, Two-Handed, Graze
