The sword is stained onyx black, with purple runes shimmering along the fuller of the blade. The sword has a long crossguard with a sharp-pointed pommel. While this sword is equipped, the user suffers from the cursed soul of Aelbor the Bloodyhanded, who thirsts for bloody daily. He whispers in the user's mind, causing them to feel a throbbing pain in their head as he threatens the user to feed it more blood at the cost of someone else, or his own.
Should the user succumb to the blade's bloodlust, the handle will grow and begin coiling around the user's wrist like a snake, slowly going further and further up the arm each day. While it does so, the blade fuses into the user's skin, and the sharp pommel penetrates deep within the arm, trying to reach the heart. In the event, that the sword finally fuses to the heart, the user becomes permanently possessed by Aelbor the Bloodyhanded and ceases to be.
Curse - Once equipped, the blade cannot be disarmed from the user's hand as it is attached by a powerful magical force. The user has a disadvantage on death saving throws and if no living humanoid is killed before 13:13 every day, the user is drained of 1d8 of health instead and the blade attempts Possession on the user.
Possession - The user must make a DC13 Constitution saving throw to resist the sword possession. Should the user fail a total of 13 saving throws, the user becomes possessed by the spirit of Aelbor the Bloodyhanded.
Removal - In order for the player to combat the curse, a level 10 Cleric with Remove Curse can restore one of the lost saving throws. Should the possession progress be brought back zero, one more attempt of Remove Curse can dislodge the user from the blade, freeing them unless they wish to wield the blade once more.
