Weapon (sling), very rare

You have a +3 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this piece of magic ammunition. Once it hits a target, the ammunition explodes into non-existence.

On a hit, targets within a 10 foot radius of the explosion must make a DEX 18 save. On a failure, targets take 6D6 acid damage, or half on a success. Targets must then make a CON 16 save. Failures are poisoned and blinded, taking an additional 3D6 poison damage every turn until the target succeeds the CON save, which it can attempt at the end of each of its turns.

A miss is considered a dud, permanently returning to a normal sling bullet.

Proficiency with a Sling allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.


This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Slow. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to it, you can reduce its Speed by 10 feet until the start of your next turn. If the creature is hit more than once by weapons that have this property, the Speed reduction doesn’t exceed 10 feet.
