Wondrous Item, artifact (requires attunement by a any class and humanoid creature)

The belt known as Arkan resembles a sturdily made, thick leather belt. It has few trappings or adornments but upon close inspection, it is revealed to be inscribed with thousands of tiny ancient runes of unknown origin.

The belt can be worn without attunement and will conform the the figure of its wearer. Beyond this, no other benefits are bestowed upon the wearer until it is attuned.

Once attuned, Arkan insists on being worn at all times. The belt cannot be removed by any means until the wearer reaches 0 hit points. The following becomes known to anyone attuned to this artifact:

Tremendous Strength. Your strength is increased to 30.

Moral Shunt. You are not allowed to willingly kill another living creature. Constructs and undead are therefore excluded. If the life of a creature is taken whilst attuned to the belt, the wearer will fall unconscious for 1d4 days. Nothing short of a Wish can wake the wearer. During this time the belt cannot be removed.

Unfettered Movement. You can add 30ft to your existing walking movement and cannot be restrained.

Sentience. The belt can read, and understand Giant and Common, and can communicate with its wielder telepathically. Its "voice" is rich yet simmers with cold rage. While you are attuned to it, The Belt of Trigas also understands every language you know.

Personality. Arkan is a calm presence, driven and calculating. It is often suspicious of strangers and coldly questions their motives.

The belt is convinced that it and its owner have key roles to play in future events of Whitfeld. It will tirelessly pursue the entrapment and punishment of Elkrich family members.

Notes: Sense: Darkvision, Bonus: Strength Score, Bonus: Speed (Walking), Arkan is the eldest child of the Wardhold family. He was kidnapped by a witch under the direction of Lord Elkrich. During his monstrous transformation, into Trigas the Giant, Arkan pleaded to the gods for help. His call was answered by Tyr, the god of justice. Tyr placed Arkan's soul into the belt around Trigas's waist. He has remained there, controlling Trigas yet unable to fulfil his quest to bring the Elkrich family to justice., any class and humanoid creature, Belt, Sentient
