This beautifully forged Githyanki shortsword is built to be used as a sidearm. A few notches etched into the blade causes a whistling sound when it is thrust. Upon first retrieving it from the scabbard, the shortsword lets out a constant light whistle.
The first time you make an attack with this shortsword each day, the whistling increases to an incredibly high pitch in the direction of your attack. The weapon’s range extends 5 feet, and deals an additional 1d6 thunder damage. The sound is audible out to 20 feet. Once you attack with this weapon, you cannot use this feature again until dawn of the next day. The whistle sound of the blade stops as well until the next dawn.
“Whistle while you work.”
Proficiency with a Shortsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
